Our mission
Sugar Glider Guide exists because demand for exotic pets runs far ahead of the knowledge needed to keep them alive and well. We close that gap with plain-language, trilingual care science, practical calculators and honest legal information — without selling a single animal.
What we do
- Publish original, structured care guides written for real husbandry decisions.
- Build free tools that run on your device: weight tracking, cost planning, diet portions.
- Maintain a best-effort legal-status lookup that always points back to official sources.
- Redirect welfare impulses toward verification, veterinary care and long-term commitment.
Our editorial principles
- Animal welfare over convenience — if a practice is cheap but harmful, we say so.
- No live-animal commerce, ever — no listings, no broker contacts, no exceptions.
- Uncertainty is labeled — unclear laws and debated diets are marked unclear, not guessed.
- Veterinary boundary — we triage and educate; licensed exotic vets diagnose and treat.
- No paywalls on fundamentals — every care article and tool stays free.

编辑原则
- 动物福利优先于便利——便宜但有害的做法，我们会直说。
- 永远不碰活体交易——不发布买卖、不提供中介联系方式，没有例外。
- 标注不确定性——不明确的法律、有争议的食谱就标"不明确"，不靠猜。
- 守住兽医边界——我们做分诊与科普；诊断治疗交给执业异宠兽医。
- 基础内容不设付费墙——所有科普文章与工具永久免费。
